“I committed to Appalachian State,” Tysean Holloway told Scout. “I completely fell in love with the place.”
After he left Boone this morning, Holloway spent the day with family. Then tonight, he decided to make it official.
“I just decided why wait, so I called my recruiting coach, Coach Holt,”said Holloway. “I let him know I wanted to talk to Coach Moore, because I am committing. He welcomed me to the family and told me it was great news. Since I am graduating in December, he said they would get the ball rolling. Both him and Coach Moore will be here at my house tomorrow.”
Holloway finishes his high school exams Friday, then he will turn his attention to the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
“I am really looking forward to it,” he said. “I want to go out and have fun and get a win.”
The Asheville native finished his high school career with nearly 5,000 yards rushing and 70 touchdowns.
