The 6-2, 235-pound linebacker, who is slated to play in the 2013 U.S Army All-American Bowl next January, said that during his visit he bonded with another player he had played with in the past, Cocoa, (Fla.) running back Tarean Folston, who seemed to share a similar viewpoint on Oregon according to Kalambayi.
"He was very impressed," Kalambayi said of Folston.
Kalambayi toured the facilities and campus, spending a majority of his time with linebackers coach Don Pellum. He said that he was particularly impressed with the new football operations building being constructed outside Autzen Stadium, but that he "liked everything" about his trip.
"It was definitely one of the best," Kalambayi said. "Every campus has different aspects…its definitely one of the best ones I've seen." Kalambayi said.
Kalambayi said if he had to put himself in a Ducks uniform, he feels he could excel at any of the linebacker positions. At this point he has no other official visits set in stone, but that he will visit at least one more school.
"I'm going to take one to Stanford, but I haven't scheduled anything." Kalambayi said.
