Robert Nkemdiche is the no. 1 prospect across the board in 2013 and he will head the defensive line unit for his team. The 6-foot-4, 270 pound star out of Grayson (Ga.) was committed to Clemson, but is now leaning towards Ole Miss, where his brother Denzel Nkemdiche plays linebacker.
Nkemdiche is not the only five-star on the defensive front. Demarcus Walker is another one and he is committed to Alabama. He would like to play 'Jack' linebacker in Tuscaloosa, but he will play with his hand down in this event.
Joining those two five-star defensive linemen are six of the best at their positions in the country. The defensive tackles are Kennedy Tulimasealii (Committed to Hawaii), Caleb Brantley (Committed to Florida), Greg Gilmore (Commitment to LSU), and Maquedius Bain.
The linebacker core has a group of that come from all parts of the country. Scout's no. 2 outside linebacker is Matthew Thomas out of Booker T. Washington (Fla.) and he is the top prospect at this position. He has been offered by most schools in the country and Scout feels Florida State and Miami are atop his list.
The secondary like the other two position groups is very strong. Both the cornerback and safety position has a five-star leading the way.
Vernon Hargreaves is the top cornerback in the country and he will not be traveling far to play in this event. The Tampa, Fla. native is college ready and he will be suiting up for the Florida Gators next fall.
Other cornerbacks on this team are Maurice Smith and Jeryl Brazil. Smith is a corner out of Texas that is committed to Texas and Brazil is an LSU commitment that plays in Louisiana. Both are members of the Scout300.
Vonn Bell is a five-star safety out of Georgia and he is still considering Alabama, Ohio State, and Tennessee. He is a safety with great range and big play ability. He is the no. 3 safety in the country.
There are four more safeties on this team and three hail from the Sunshine State. Leon McQuay is a Scout100 member out of Armwood, Marcell Harris is a four-star out of Dr. Phillips, and Keanu Neal is the no. 15 safety in the country and he is out of South Sumter. McQuay remains uncommitted and both Harris and Neal are committed to Florida. Holland Fisher is a big safety out of Virginia and he is committed to Virginia Tech. He is ranked as the no. 6 outside linebacker on Scout, but is listed as a safety in this event.
