In the end it was John Curtis Christian of River Ridge, La. who claims the
2012 FOX Sports Next National Championship. The Patriots decimated their
competition this season including Florida powerhouse Plant. Curtis won their
games by an average of 48 to 4 and included six shutouts. Curtis' balance on
offense was nothing short of remarkable this year. The Patriots rushed for 3500
yards without a 1,000 yard rusher, but with six players who broke through 200
yards.
Every team in the Top 10 has a legitimate claim to being the top team in the
nation, but it's John Curtis Christian who is FOX Sports Next's National
Champion.
