New Combine Set for June 7th

Havelock High School will host the inaugural Battle at the Beach Combine held on June 7th.

This combine will be a competition between 8 different weight classes. Athletes will be tested with 185 lbs. on the bench press doing as many reps as they can. They will also be tested on the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, and the 20 yard pro agility shuttle during the speed and agility segment.

The athletes will be separated into EIGHT weight classes and will compete against other athletes in those classes. There will be three trophies given in each weight class, based on the each athlete’s total points gained from the four skill tests.

Ninth, 10th, 11th, and current 12th Graders are eligible to attend.

The weight classes go as follows: 0-154, 155-169, 170-184, 185-199, 200-219, 220-239, 240-259, and 260-and up.

Weigh-in starts at 9am and the combine will begin at 10:30am. It will cost $10 to participate.
